Moving on can be difficult, not many of us like change and we do not accept it, we look back at what we have "lost"

We need to learn the lesson and move forwards, so far in my life it has been true, and even when it was such a good thing that ended, later on I realized the bigger picture.

I have peace.

Allow yourself the gift of peace in this new year.

Treating Infertility with Hypnosis

Many women are struggling with Infertility. Often a medical cause is ruled out and the couple are left with no answers as to why they are unable to conceive.
However there is an answer to the problem... Hypnosis.
Using the latest techniques Hypnosis can uncover the underlying cause.
During our childhood we can conclude incorrect beliefs about ourselves, such as being unworthy.
This is enough to mentally ruin our chances of having a baby, because in the back of our sub conscious mind we are not good enough, we do not deserve, therefore we don't even go there.

Hypnotherapy can resolve issues like these and with positive suggestions and programming, the client is now ready to try for the baby they always wanted.

Nail Biting Worries.

Nail Biting can be a bothersome issue, especially when we are an adult.

For some of us, it is simply a habit we formed as a child, and something we have to really work on to control.

I had a client come to see me for nail biting and we uncovered an interesting reason behind it.

when he was a young boy, he used to get angry a lot and used to throw his toys and tantrums in the middle of the store, his mom would chastise him and send him into his room later for quiet reflection.

It was at these times he would feel guilty for upsetting his mom and would bite his nails so low that they would be sore for days.

He did this as a form of self punishment for being naughty.

So with this issue dealt with he was able to overcome the issue at hand!

Hypnosis Explained

Hypnosis in itself has always been a mysterious. From its beginnings, people have been awed and others have been skeptical. Frank Mesmer (where we get the term mesmerize) thought hypnosis had something to do with magnetic fluids, while today many people think hypnosis is a tap into the subconscious. Consequently, when asking what hypnosis is also depends on who is asked. More subjective people will explain it in more phenomological terms. On the other hand, more objective people will explain it in more behavioral terms. Analyzing hypnosis comes down to two schools of thought: special state and non-special state.

Special State

For those who believe in special state, hypnosis is a way to tap into a trance that is unattainable otherwise. For example, a person can lift 30 more pounds than they normally can while in a hypnosis induced trance. Articles have been published claiming that a person in a trance has different brain waves than that of a person in a normal state. Others have opined that these reports are media friendly and exaggerated.

Non-special State

Skeptic and some scientist explain hypnosis has simple acts of human behavior in certain situations. For one thing, compliance can play a big role in hypnotic feats. As in stage hypnosis, the subject may want to cooperate with the hypnotist. On the other hand, some subjects may actually believe that they are in a trance, and this belief may be enough to perform strange phenomena such as eating an onion on stage effortlessly. Tests actually show that people who are encouraged to do something without being in a trance perform just as well as people who are in a trance. What this means is, as in the earlier example, a person being prompted to lift 30 more pounds than usually can do so in a normal state.

Inducing a Trance

With the two schools of thought out of the way, there are staples in what needs to be done during a hypnotic process. The first step would be getting the person into a relaxed state. You can do this by telling him to simply relax. Next, a good hypnotist would do what is called pacing and leading. Hypnosis is not about magic words but is actually about making the person feel as if they are entering a trance. An example of pacing and leading would be to raise your hand above the subjects head, forcing them to stare up. Knowing that this will cause increased blinking, the hypnotist will tell the subject that the deeper they go into the trance, the more they will start to blink (pacing) and that their eyes will grow heavier and heavier until they close completely (leading). The pacing, or telling the subject something will happen that is normal and attributing it to a trance, causes the subject to feel as though he is going into a trance and therefore will accept the leading of closing the eyes all together.

The next step is to deepen the trance. This is done by even more relaxation. A good way of doing this is for the hypnotist to count down and tell the subject with each decrease in numbers, he will feel even more relaxed than the number before. This should get a responsive subject into a state where suggestion can be elicited.

Conclusion

Theory of hypnosis is divided between two groups and is hard to explain with great confidence, but there will always be techniques that are essential to put someone into a trance state. Hypnosis really comes down to relaxation and the ability to lead the subject in a trance state. The mystery of hypnosis is demystified by understanding it may not be exactly as spectacular as once thought. It may even be considered the ultimate placebo.
Once suggestions are given to the client, healing can then occur.

Manage your Pain.

Great Article here on Pain Management.

Hypnosis has been proven effective in helping control chronic pain, one of the most common reasons for patients to seek medical care, yet many doctors and patients still fail to buy into this powerful healing tool.
“A lot of people don’t understand hypnosis, and some are fearful by what they see on television about it,” said hypnotherapist Susan Sawyer, who acknowledges that only a small percentage of the clients she sees in her Satellite Beach office seek help with chronic pain issues.
The British Medical Association and the American Medical Association approved the clinical use of hypnosis more than 50 years ago. According to studies published by the National Institute of Health, hypnosis can provide significant relief for chronic pain, defined as pain that persists for six months or more. In a study of breast cancer patients by Mount Sinai School of Medicine, individuals who participated in a 15-minute session of presurgery hypnosis reported a 53 percent decrease in pain intensity and 74 percent decrease in nausea, when compared with patients who did not go through hypnosis.

If hypnosis works, why don’t more people use it?
“Pills are easier,” said Dr. Kathy Doner, a physician who practices hypnotherapy in Melbourne and Sebastian. Only about 10 percent of Doner’s hypnotherapy clients seek help for pain management.
Doner, who practiced internal medicine before, was a fan of hypnosis right out of medical school. She remains an anomaly in the medical profession.
“Doctors are not at all trained in hypnosis,” she said. “I was the exception.”
Doner became interested in hypnosis when she viewed a video of one of her medical student friends who underwent nasal septum deviation surgery without the use of anesthetics.
“The only anesthesiologist was the hypnotist,” she said.
When blood gushed out during the procedure, the patient was able to diminish its flow, just through hypnosis.
Physicians refer patients to Doner and Sawyer, but it is usually only after a patient suggests it or the physicians themselves have tried it and personally witnessed its efficacy.

Hypnosis is a great way of using your own resources to deal with pain.

You never know what you don't know, until you know!

Today I am writing a story of a client.

I know the family and asked if I could help, as i know there were some medical issues going on and it was at the stage where she was to scared to go and have a pap smear for fear of what she would be told.

After years of having repeat call backs for pap smear tests, she was to scared to even go along, she had many procedures but was at a point where she was in denial.

I asked her to come and see me to see if I could do something to help.

We all have cancer cells in us, which is a scary thought, but not everyone develops cancer, why ? What happens to some people that makes them a victim whilst other people, never have to worry.

Stress is the answer.

When we are in fight or flight mode, we can damage the immune system and or the gastro intestinal tract, this is because these two cannot be deprived even for a second.

During fight or flight everything is sent to the heart, because you are ready to take severe action, is it at these times we can be damaged and not know it.

So after explaining this to my client we discovered her childhood was full of fight and flight moments.

I knew I would be able to help her to heal, so we began her session.

When she was four years old, someone came into the house and kidnapped her father, She had no idea what was happening, but on seeing the fight of her father, she was in full adrenalin rush.

We were able to bring her to peace over this incident, and was able to heal the body, by positive suggestions and programming.

I am delighted to announce that Yesterday I got a call from her saying after the session she was brave enough to go back to the doctors and have been given the all clear!

Hypnosis is a incredibly powerful healing tool, sadly modern medicine does not always look at other alternatives, the one question I ask myself is, what if i had not been able to treat her?

A sobering thought.

So if you or anyone you know have been suffering medical issues and would like to learn how and why it is there and help it to heal please give me a call, I am here to help.

With a client coming for medical issues, we are required by law to get a written referral from the Clients doctor, you must always let your doctor know what you are going to do, so they can also be on board.
