Fear of flying is the second most held fear in America. If the mere
thought of boarding a plane sends you racing to your computer to figure
how to drive to your destination instead, you're not alone. Over 50
percent of people admit to a fear of flying, including celebrities, like
John Madden, Jennifer Anniston, Kate Winslet,
and Collin Farrell. Physical manifestations – when you cannot possibly
drive and must fly – can include heavy breathing, increased heart rate,
sweating, nervousness, and even tears. Refusing to fly can result in a
loss of employment oppourtunities, losing the ability to travel to see new places, and you may even miss that destination wedding you wanted to attend.
There
are plenty of undesirable ways to hide your fear of flying and force
yourself onto a plane. You can take medication, like Xanax, or have
more than a few drinks before boarding, hoping you'll sleep it off as
you travel. This might get you to your destination once, but next time
you need to fly, the fear is still there.
Using Hypnosis we can get back to the root cause and deal effectively, and bring about a sense of peace and calmness when making that essential trip.
A client who came to see me for Fear Of Flying could not believe the cause of her phobia, when she was a young child her brother was watching one of the Airplane movies and his reaction scared her, she was traumatized by it, and concluded planes were dangerous.
Now she is able to fly and enjoy the flight.
So if something in your past is holding you back, seek help, it's your life, take back control and live it to it's fullest.
