How qualified is a qualified Hypnotherapist ?

Luckily for America Hypnosis is a profession which is now regulated.

I am a member of the A.C.H.E (which stands for the American Council of Hypnotic Examiners)

The minimum requirement for a Clinical Hypnotherapist is 300 hours of training from a licensed school.

This way the client knows that the therapist they have gone to, is as qualified as they can be for the A.C.H.E requirement in the state of Florida.

I have over 500 hours of training, as the school I attended strives to provide the highest level of training possible.

The Florida Institute Of Hypnosis now based in Tampa is a licensed school and in fact the president is on the board of the A.C.H.E

For current Hypnotherapists they have to renew their license every two years at which time they will need to provide the A.C.H.E with proof that they have attended a further 30 hours of training in that two year period.

So as you can see the American Council Of Hypnotic Examiners takes it's responsibility very seriously.

So when you are seeking the best qualified, have a look at the therapists credentials, if they are a current member of the A.C.H.E you can rest assured that they have had the minimum of 300 hours training and they should always have their certificate on show for you to see.
